Happy Summer! With the warmer weather comes plenty of fun times with our four legged friends! However, if you have to travel without the companionship of your furry family, remember that they can stay in the safety of our hospital, with our trained staff members giving them plenty of daily TLC! If you make your boarding reservation before June 15th (and redeem it by August 15th) - your pet can stay for one night free, with a second paid night! And on top of that, receive $5 off a kennel cough vaccination, if administered at least 2 weeks prior to boarding! Just mention this newsletter for these specials!

Animal Medical Associates will also be open most Saturdays during the height of the summer. To kick off our summer season, we will have local dog behaviourist George Quinlan in to hold a puppy party for pups under 16 weeks of age. The "party" will be at 11 am on June 18th, and will cover plenty of basic good puppy topics - including nip training and how to make veterinary visits fun. The cost of the class is $7.00 with all of the proceeds to benefit Animal Medical Associates "Angel Fund". The puppy does NOT have to be a patient here to join the class - pass this invitation along to friends and neighbors! Please call at 282-5151 to reserve your space in the class!

We will be placing our once monthly Hills prescription food order on the 15th of June. If you will need Hills Prescription Food for your pet before July 15th (our next order) - please let us know as soon as possible so we may include your order with ours and avoid the shipping fees.

If your dog has not yet been tested for heartworm disease - please let us know! We have a limited amount of heartworm tests (does not include the tick disease tests) and are able to offer them at the reduced cost of $25 each - while supplies last. Please mention this notice when scheduling your appointment, if you would like a discounted test!
